The Sony RDRDC505 is a DVD recorder with both Freeview and analogue television tuners, providing good picture quality and the widest selection of free-to-air terrestrial channels. You can record on to DVD-R and +R format discs, including high-capacity dual layer discs, or on to the built-in 500GB hard disk drive. The RDR-DC505 also outputs upscaled, high definition pictures via it's HDMI output, for stunning full '1080p' HD pictures on your HD ready flatscreen TV.

More advanced features include the ability to pause and rewind live Freeview TV and to watch from the start of a programme as the end is still being recorded (chase play).
