7" widescreen HDV/MiniDV Video Walkman
For those of you who have been waiting for a video Walkman for camcorder tapes, Sony introduce the GV-HD700E portable viewer / monitor for HDV and DV tapes. Features include a 7-inch widescreen (16:9) LCD display, an all-scan function to ensure that 100 % of the recorded frame area is displayed on the monitor, up to six LCD panel setups on the screen for easy browsing, HDMI amongst a range of connectivity options and the ability to view in x.v.Colour.
There's also a separate HD/SD component output in addition to the HDMI output, an i.LINK port for direct recording and playback of HDV and DV signals and analogue video and audio recording/monitoring via s-video and RCA input connectors.
