With a power output of 1000W, the Sony BDVE880 produces 3D surround sound through 5 wired, multidirectional speakers, and supports Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio & High audio codecs.

The BDVE880's 3D-compatible Blu-ray player adds a whole new dimension to your entertainment, enhancing the quality of your favourite DVDs to near-HD via upscaling. x.v.Color, Deep Color and 24p True Cinema technologies ensure colours are bright, and DLNA certification enables you to stream music and movies from your computer. The BDVE880 is also wireless LALN ready, meaning you can enjoy content from the internet without wires (wireless LAN adapter sold separately).

That's not all! You can even hook up a wide range of peripherals to the BDVE880's two USB ports. In fact, there's even an iPod/iPhone dock for taking files stored on your portable media player to a big screen.
