QED's SS50 transmatch is the ultimate speaker switching box, providing up to five additional sets of speaker outputs, whilst safely converting the load to 8 ohms to protect your amplifier.

Inputs
  • Stereo speaker output from amplifier: Connecting block style screw terminals - accepts quite thick cables including traditional 79 strand cables

    Outputs
  • 5 pairs of stereo speakers - connection type same as inputs. Speakers "A" are directly switched for the very best sound quality, speakers "B1" through "B4" converts a net 2 ohm impedance (in 8 ohm speakers are used) back to 8 ohms for safe amplifier connection

    Functions
  • Enables the use of up to five pairs of speakers on a single pair of speaker outputs. Speakers can be switched independently allowing any combination of the four

  • Power rating: 60W, silver-plated switch contacts, impedance matching design, electronic overload protection
