AV furniture with closing panel doors gives a discrete & tidy appearance to your AV set-up. However, the doors can prevent the infra-red remote signals that control your Blu-ray player, satellite receiver etc., operating correctly.

The Peerless ACIRK04 remote extender kit allows these signals from remote controls to pass through the furniture's doors and operate your AV equipment as usual.

A central infra-red receiver acts as the remote control receiver for all of your under-TV AV devices

The receiver is connected to an extender box which then passes the remote control signal to each piece of AV equipment via an infra-red repeater, placed either adjacent or affixed to the AV device's IR window.
