The DMP-BDT310 also has 2D-to-3D conversion to give your standard Blu-ray and DVD collection and even AVCHD video shot with your HD camcorder, added depth like never before!

The Panasonic DMP-BDT310 offers Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio decoding for the optimum in HD audio and to perfectly complement your 3D or 2D Blu-ray experience. You can activate Digital Tube Sound which simulates the warm, atmospheric sound of a vacuum tube amplifier when playing music. Plus High Clarity Sound can be used to turn off all of the analogue video circuitry to reduce interference and to provide clearer, cleaner sound.

The Panasonic DMP-BDT310 boasts built-in Wi-Fi and an Ethernet connection and these can be used with a number of great features. You can use the Viera Cast platform to access a range of online content such as video on YouTube, pictures on Picasa and your Twitter page on your TV. The DMP-BDT310 also offers Skype for making video calls in comfort and using your TV. Simply connect the optional camera to the player (sold separately) and you can take calls whilst watching a film or leave the call to the answer message service, you can even save video messages on an SD Card!

The DMP-BDT310 is DLNA certified and so you connect the player to your home network via Wi-Fi or the Ethernet port and stream video, music and photos from devices around your home such as your laptop. You can also stream content stored on compatible Panasonic DIGA recorders in the home.

The DMP-BDT310 has two USB ports (one on the front and one on the back) and you can connect a USB storage device and play Div X HD, MKV, WMV and AVCHD video, mp3 music and JPEG images stored on-board. The player also has an SD/SDHC/SDXC Card slot for playing MPEG-2, JPEG, MPO and AVCHD files such as the video and photos captured with your camera or camcorder.

Other connections include two HDMI v1.4 outputs, so you can output video to your 3DTV and audio to a non-3D AV receiver for example.

The Panasonic DMP-BDT310 has a slim, compact and state-of-the-art design. You can open and close the disc tray by simply waving your hand over the top of the player. You also have the option to download an App for controlling the DMP-BDT310 using your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch!
